The Breedlove Signature Companion travel-size acoustic-electric features a torrefied European spruce top and sustainably sourced African mahogany body.
This is a great guitar, it sounds pretty big for being a slightly smaller instrument. The neck is straight, the action is low and the pickup works nicely. It was deemed a b-stock due to some bubbles under the finish on the butt of the guitar. The finish is solid, not flaking. The rest of the guitar looks close to new, but there is a "used" stamp on the back of the headstock to indicate a refurbished guitar.
As part of the Breedlove Organic Collection, now available at Guitar Center, the Signature Companion is ideal for a first-time player, skilled player or gigging pro. The Companion model is Breedlove's new travel-size guitar that has all the sound and features you'd expect from a full-size guitar, including Natural Sound electronics. Diminutive only in size, the semi-gloss Signature Companion is as bold in its Copper Burst look as it is in its rich, punchy spruce tone.

Though it's a travel-size acoustic-electric guitar, the Breedlove Signature Companion has all the features of its larger cousins, including the benefits of Breedlove’s Sound Optimization research. A thinner, durable semi-gloss Copper Burst UV finish completes the Breedlove Signature Companion. The thin UV-finished top reduces weight and also contributes to a more complex sound with sustained overtones.Other special features of the Breedlove Signature Companion acoustic-electric include forward X bracing, chrome tuning machines and bone nut and saddle.
